GaLa Instrumente GmbH offers inexpensive table top plasma instruments.
They can be used as a plasma cleaner, plasma etcher, plasma asher, plasma
coater or for plasma surface modification - all in one instrument. Plasma
treatment will improve polymer analysis, wetability problems,
painting/coating of plastics, gluing results and clean surfaces from
carbon, grease and oil.
The use of low vacuum plasma technology is easy,
quickly, in-expensive, environment-friendly and reproducible. The cost of
plasma treatment is negligible compared to other methods.
With a plasma
instrument from GaLa Instrumente GmbH many different tasks in altering
material surfaces can be achieved. Plasma technique is widely spread in
scientific research and industrial production. Surfaces of samples can be
de-greased, cleaned, activated, etched or ashed.
With the beginning of asbestos analysis, plasma
technique began to conquer analytical electron microscopy. In this
application the organic components are ashed to simplify and speed
up fibre analysis. Another important application is cleaning and
de-greasing of sample holder and/or inorganic samples (TEM). This
procedure is mandatory for analytical transmission electron microscopy (ATEM)
and high resolution. Plasma treatment ahead of analysis guarantees longer
analysis time without contamination of cracked hydro carbons.
Furthermore, it has been shown that plasma treatment prevents charging in
SEM without going through the process of sputtering or carbon coating the
sample for low KV applications (FEM, see literature). For above mentioned applications, plasma instruments from GaLa

GaLa can only sell OEM products for electron microscopy into
German speaking countries. i.e. Germany, Austria, Switzerland and
Liechtenstein. However, if there is no assigned representation for a
particular country, customers from that country are welcome to place inquiries
with GaLa. Plasma
instruments, being a GaLa and
a partner company product, are sold world wide.
Equipment can be quoted in any currency, although EURO is preferred.
